| Wow! I missed posting the whole month of February! I think I got a little carried away with facebook and forgot about my other friends.
It a couple days till Spring break and I am a sick dawg. Ever since my b-day I have had a terrible bad cold. I sure hope I feel better by my BFC trip to Nashville.
That reminds me, I have an upcoming missions trip to Nashville. I have never been on a mission trip. We will be mainly working with the homeless and working at inner-city missions. We have a small team and has recently become smaller due to various people having to drop off the team. That is a bummer, but I know God knew that would happen the whole time so that's okay.
I had an amazing 23rd birthday. I really wasn't expecting anything and didn't want anything, but I got everything! I have the greatest friends in the world. Not just because they gave me a great birthday, but b/c I know they are true friends.
I have officially decided to stay in Dayton for the summer again. I have a prospective place to stay, but no job yet. It sure is hard to find a good job around these parts. I am excited for summer, especially after a wonderful day like today. I want to go swimming a bunch at Pocket and with my friends again like last summer. That reminds me I will miss Kim a lot when she leaves...

Here are all the things I got on my birthday!
| Just an update from the Char post! I have found a new love...and it's called facebook. Currently I am back at Bryan and having a blast. What else should I say besides I'm thinking about summer plans...I want to stay in Dayton again, but need a good job. Perhaps go to school though. Just some current things I am praying about. | | |
| I have tons of questions floating around in my head right now. No questions with any real answers though. I think they will stay there a while longer and linger.
I've been real busy lately, but with nothing really...Does that even make sense? I think I'm in one of those blah moods! Anywho, I went to Virginia Beach with my best friend Brooke a couple weeks back and had a blast. We were checking out a grad school for her since she graduates this year. The school was Regent University. I wasn't too impressed, but she loves it and really wants to go.
Christmas is around the corner and I am excited to be with family and friends. Also I have discovered here lately that I have found myself disgusted with the whole gifts and presents thing. The world is so material. I do understand giving out of joy and celebration, but what about the Savior of the world. Just some random thoughts and feelings. Bah-hum-bug! (j/k)
Here are some pictures of Brooke and I on the Virginia trip, and a Christmas pic with the fam. Love you guys...Can't wait to be back at school soon!

| Currently I sm sitting at home enjoying my Thanksgiving holiday break. I am enjoying seeing my dog Lucy and playing with her. Honestly I think I miss her the most out of all my family! Sad but true! Not much to report besides I am getting excited about coming back to school in th e Spring.

An exciting Christmas gift I am giving is a dog! I asked my Dad if he would be willing to take in a dog who needed a foster care family until the hurricane Katrina family could get a place to take back in their dog. This is exciting for our family because we are giving to the victims of the hurricane, but also we get to take care of a sweet animal! It is nice because my brother and I want another dog, but my Dad doesn't. It is not permanent therefore everyone is happy! Plus we are helping out a family in need.
I think that is all for now....Happy Thanksgiving!
| I am still living with the Hollingsworth family and having a blast! They really do make me feel as if I am one of them. It has been an awesome experience to be loved on by them. I am so thankful for them and their willingness to take me into their home.
I am working hard at the Women's Care Center here in Dayton. I just finished up my training to become a volunteer counselor. This is really exciting to me considering I want to be a counselor one day. This is great experience for me and my future career. We just moved into our new building, and it is so nice. There is so much space. There is also plenty of room to grow. The Lord has blessed me with many great friends at the center as well.
Family, on the other hand, is a whole other issue! I reently set some really strong boundaries with my brother, and it went really well. I feel much better about being around him now. Home is becoming, slowly but surely, a not so scary place! My next step is to do the same except more strongly with my Dad This is a lot more difficult for me than my brother. Hopefully the Lord will prepare his heart beforehand.
Life is good, but I do miss being at Bryan. Good news to all...I am coming back in Janurary! I am so excited about my new roommate and getting to know some new friends. Here is a great picture of my new roommate from last semester's end of the year vacation I hope all is well with everyone. Love you...
